Mechanics

This is the page for all the mechanics in game, from movement to spellcasting and extra stuff.

Movement

Walking

Its as basic as it is. WASD. Nothing else.

Running

This is also basic. CTRL, double W or a dash can be used to initiate running mode.

Dash

Press Q to dash. You can change how much stamina is used in the settings. More the stamina used, longer and faster the dashes. Their regen varies from class to class.

Skill Points(SP)

This is a very important mechanic. It is a kind of currency that can be obtained from various means. They can be used to change various stats such as health, offence, defence, stamina etc.

Health

It's in the name. It can be changed in the SP settings.

Offence

It determines how much base damage is dealt. It can be changed in the SP settings.

Defence

It determines how much damage is tanked. It can be changed in the SP settings.

Stamina

It determines how much energy you have. Energy is used to power every special move. It can be changed in the SP settings.

Experience and (solo)leveling

The entire point of the game ig. This is the only way to progress and unlock more features. You can level up by doing quests, participating in events, achieving achievements and much more.

Money($/souls)

It is what it is. Stuff used to buy various stuff. Some things can be sold for money, but you lose 20% of the total value of the item sold. 

Domain Expansion:Manevolent Kitchen

It allows the player to cook up dishes that have special effects, if put in the right manner. Some ingredients are necessary as a base while others are used to alter the effect.

Quests

The main method for leveling up. The player must complete the quest to obtain its rewards and to take up the next one. There are various different quests:
- Milestone quests-> you can take it only once you reach a specific level only once. Eg: boss and mini-boss quests
- General quests-> you can take these quests whenever you want after reaching a specific level requirement.
-special quests->these only show up rarely. They can range from finding a specific object to a large-scale expedition. Harder the quests, greater the rewards.

Windwalking

A special technique learnt at the City of the BreezeBorn. This allows you to walk on air for a short period of time(around 2-3). This can be used infinitely as long as you have the stamina for it.

Armoury

This allows you to craft armour, which is mainly used to increase defence. Some armours have special features, like the WindWorn armour, which prevents hypothermia in cold regions.
